Do AirPods break easily?
The AirPods were dropped from various heights, both on their own, and in their protective case, and they’re still able to offer the same sound experience as before the experiments were conducted.
However, the tests seem to indicate the AirPods won’t break as easily as some people might expect them to.
How long do AirPods last before they break?
The tiny batteries buried in AirPods start to wear out in a few years. This despite the original AirPods being, at most, 2.25 years old. Those who bought AirPods soon after the late-2016 launch are reporting decreasing battery lives. In some cases, the original five hours on a single charge dropped to half that.
How do AirPods get damaged?
If one or both of your AirPods or Charging Case need replacement because of physical damage, you can replace each damaged item for an out-of-warranty fee.
|AirPods||AppleCare+ fee (each incident)||Out-of-warranty fee|
|AirPods||$ 29||$ 69 each|
|Charging Case||$ 29||$ 59|
|Wireless Charging Case||$ 29||$ 69|
Why do AirPods not fit in my ear?
While Apple’s AirPods do deliver surprisingly good sound quality, users don’t always get to hear it. Because the earbud tips are made out of smooth plastic instead of silicone, they never stay in one’s ears securely. A loose fit means there’s no noise isolation, so sound leaks and audio quality suffers.
