How do you find your AirPods if they are in their case?
To use the feature, open the Find iPhone app and look for “AirPods” in your list of devices. From there, you can see where your AirPods are located on a map and in relation to your other Apple products. If you tap the AirPods icon on the map, you’ll see the option to play a sound from the AirPods.
Can I find my AirPods if someone resets them?
Unfortunately, you can’t use Find My to track your AirPods if they were in the charging case when someone stole them. This is because they don’t maintain an active connection to your device while in the case, to conserve battery life.

The person may have reset them, but even if they didn’t you wouldn’t get any location updates unless the thief walked by and remained in range of your device long enough for the AirPods to pair. The reset doesn’t change the identity of the bluetooth module so that may have nothing to do with locating them, either.
How do I get a replacement AirPod?
Bring them in. Set up an appointment at an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You’ll need your serial number, so be sure to bring your Charging Case, proof of purchase, or original AirPods box along with your original AirPods. Contact Apple Support.
