How do I find out who my AirPods are?
Look in Settings
If your AirPods are connected to your iOS device, you can use it to get the model number of your AirPods: Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll down until you see the name of your AirPods (for example, “John’s AirPods”).
Tap the name, and you’ll see the model number.
Can I find my AirPods if someone else connected to them?
Unfortunately, you can’t use Find My to track your AirPods if they were in the charging case when someone stole them. This is because they don’t maintain an active connection to your device while in the case, to conserve battery life.

When AirPods are paired, they become “X person’s AirPods” and that’s how they show up in your device list. If you take “X’s” AirPods and use them with your device, they’ll be renamed as “Y Person’s AirPods”.
